WhatsApp, the popular instant communication app owned by Meta, is currently down in several countries including Pakistan as many users were unable to send and receive messages.
Outage detection website DownDetector confirms that WhatsApp is not working for thousands of users.
WhatsApp is yet to share an official statement on the issue.
